Urad dhal vadai



Ingredients
  1. Urad dhal-1 cup
  2. Onions-1/2
  3. Green chilli-2
  4. coriander leaves
  5. ginger-1 small piece
  6. salt

Method

Soak urad dhal for 1 hour.Grind it with very little water.While grinding add ginger pieces and green chillis.Grind till the batter becomes fluffy.Mix it with chopped onions greenchillis and salt.Now heat oil in a kadai,when becomes hot take a small ball of batter.Pat this ball in a plastic sheet and make a hole in the center.Drop them in oil ,fry till it turns golden brown.Place them in a tissue paper to absorb oil.

This can be served hot with coconut chutney.

Uchi Pillayar


This is one of the famous temple in trichirapalli. The shrine is at a height of 273 feet and the number of steps is 417. The last flight of stairs leads to the pinnacle, where Uchi Pillayar sits and surveys the terrain below. Into blogging.....


I want to start my my blog by posting a photo of my fave god ganapathi. In this blog you can find photos of lord ganesha with tit bits of facts and of course my recipes.Cooking became my all time hobby after marriage and the credit goes to my beloved husband,who encourages me in doing new dishes and giving the correct feedback. I learnt most of the recipes from my mother-in-law and from my mom.Hope u all njoy my recipes and pls feel free to give ur comments .
